As the video illustrates, all work takes place underground. It is done using a rotating, cylindrical bit equipped with a tri-cone, attached to an extremely lengthy lead line. The bit spits water from the cone to cool it down and accelerate directional boring.

The driller uses the space of a tiny area for collecting water. It follows a planned path.
